Residence
A place where history and luxury meet
Located in the heart of Tivoli's acropolis, just steps from the Roman temples, Locanda Sibilla is a luxury Boutique Hotel that blends 18th-century historical grandeur with refined contemporary design.
The property offers an exclusive welcome based on a personal concierge service and a discreet elegance that celebrates the great tradition of the European Grand Tour.

History
Roots in the 18th century
The building has its roots in the 18th century, when it was a famous stop for illustrious figures on the Grand Tour such as Goethe and D'Annunzio, travelers in search of beauty, inspiration, and eternal Italy.
The restoration has turned the residence into a design retreat of natural materials, exposed beams, fine parquet and precious marble. Its heart is the artistic bar counter, the convivial soul of the locanda, in an intimate, refined atmosphere.

The Grand Tour
The travellers who chose Tivoli
Before photography, Tivoli was already an image: Turner, van Wittel, Ducros and Vernet painted the Temple and the waterfall for the travellers of the Grand Tour. The five suites carry the names of those who climbed up here, Chateaubriand, Goethe, Casanova, D'Annunzio, and of one who looked further still, Armstrong.
